There are several factors we consider when quoting a specific project. The main criterion is the number of words a document contains. Other factors include the difficulty of the material (technical translations and specialized translations are priced higher than general content), the turn-around time and any other special requests.

Our Spanish translation rates are extremely competitive and they start at just seven cents (US$0.07) per word. If you'd like to get a free, no-obligation quote for your Spanish translation project, please access our Spanish translation quote request form.

If you don't know the total number of words to be translated, don't worry. You can easily calculate this yourself by following our word count instructions.

Otherwise, please go ahead and send us your files and we'd be happy to do it for you and send you a quick price quote.

The turn-around time for each project depends on the length of the document/file. Even with the tightest deadlines, we never sacrifice the quality of our translations for the sake of speed. In addition, we work closely with our clients and translators to make sure that the client's translations are delivered within the requested time frame.

If you're in a hurry and need an urgent translation, you'll be happy to know that we have a rush service available and that we also work on weekends, so please get in touch with us.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  • Transfer to our bank account

We also accept credit orders (purchase orders) from certain businesses and institutions in the United States and Canada. In this case, we will require an official purchase order, a business credit application and/or a signed contract.

By default, our English to Spanish translations use 'neutral' or 'generic' Spanish, a register that is clearly understood by Spanish speakers across Latin America, Spain, and the United States, based on the standards set by the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language.

However, if you need content targeted to a specific country or regional dialect, such as Mexican Spanish, Colombian Spanish, or Castilian Spanish, we can accommodate that request using our network of native English to Spanish translators from those regions.

The following section outlines the typical components of the translation workflow:

  1. We receive the original documents/files from you.
  2. Our Project Managers analyze your documents/files and determine the scope of the project.
  3. We select the translators and subject matter experts based on your specific needs.
  4. We define the terminology and create a glossary for the project.
  5. Our hand-picked linguists translate and/or localize your documents/files.
  6. The subject matter expert reviews the draft translation for technical and/or scientific adaptation.
  7. Our Quality Assurance specialists check the overall quality, accuracy, style and consistency of the translation.
  8. We lay out and format the final translation to match the original documents/files as closely as possible.
  9. We deliver the final product to you, always on time.

Most of our translation requests come from companies and organizations, but we're also happy to work with private individuals.

Quality is built into every stage of our process. All translations are performed by native Spanish-speaking translators with subject-specific expertise, ensuring correct terminology and natural phrasing. Every project then undergoes a proofreading and editing review at no additional cost. Our translators and linguists adhere to the international quality standards defined by ISO 17100 (replaces ISO 15038), ISO 11669 and ISO 2384.
